When it comes to music, I love it all. I have a Bachelors and Masters Degree in music from Georgia State University in the area of Jazz Studies. I have studied drum set, percussion, mandolin, guitar, piano and violin. The music that I study and have studied is all across the board from bluegrass, country and pop/rock to jazz, classical, Irish music, gypsy jazz, Indian Classical, and other world music. Also, I have extensively studied marching percussion. I was on the drum line for the University of Georgia Redcoat Band and the Georgia Tech Marching Band playing snare drum. I was a member of The Atlanta Falcons Drum Line that no longer exists.
I hold an associates degree in business from Gainesville State College and a Bachelors and Masters Degree in music from Georgia State University in the area of Jazz Percussion. I am currently attending Georgia State University working towards a PHD in music education.
